Setting Roots

Experience the wonder of the farm using all five senses! Designed for TK, preschool or special education groups, students will experience where their food comes from as they are guided through farm activities, such as weed races, compost sifting, harvesting or planting. Each student will bring something home—vegetables to share with their family, seeds to plant at home or a craft to remember their special day on the farm. This trip can be done twice, once in fall and again in spring.
